Recently, the team of researcher Zhu Daochen and Professor Sun Jianzhong of our School has made important progress in the depolymerization of lignin into vanillin. The related results are titled "Decoding lignin valorization pathways in the extremophilic Bacillus ligniniphilus L1 for vanillin biosynthesis" and published in the internationally renowned journal "Green Chemistry" in the field of green sustainable development.
